Back in January, leaked promotional materials and a new trailer pointed to Resident Evil 6 being released on November 20, 2012.
That was so January. Now it’s April, and Capcom recently held their Captivate 2012 event in Rome, at which they proudly displayed a new trailer for Resident Evil 6. And at the end of that trailer, Capcom proudly displayed a new release date for Resident Evil 6, this time straight from the horse’s mouth.
Resident Evil 6 will be released worldwide on October 2, 2012, almost a full two months ahead of the previously rumored release date. If you were waiting for the game you now have considerably less time to do so.
