Like we told you before, secrets are hard to keep in this industry.

Sony got tired of trying to hide the fact that it’s got someone working on a Super Smash Bros clone called PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. And really, who can blame them. With internet super sleuths checking everything from patents to web registries, it’s easier to just come out with it. Which is exactly what Sony did.

Sony has SuperBot Entertainment working on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, although there’s still not a whole lot of info available. SuperBot has said there will be both single player and multiplayer modes, with an emphasis on online play. They’ve also said that players will be able to play in both competitive and cooperative modes.

That’s not a lot to go with, but what we do have is a few screenshots and a gameplay video.

SuperBot Entertainment is promising to reveal much more about the game at this year’s E3, so stay tuned as more info about the game is revealed!

About - The Games That Made Me: I remember as a kid my parents went over to one of their friends’ houses one evening. Their friends had a kid who was a wee bit older than I was, and he had an NES with The Legend of Zelda. I don’t remember the kid’s name or what he looked like, but I remember sitting and playing that game. From that point on it was over. Since then, Final Fantasy Tactics, Sonic 2, StarCraft, Quake 3, Counterstrike, and quite a few others made me the gamer I am today.
